Sydney City Farm presented at the Urban Gardening forum in June as part of the City of Sydney Green Villages initiative.
The stoicism of edible street plantings, creating ingenious micro habitats for birds and frogs and how to create a balcony garden, were some of the things we learned about at an inspiring Urban Gardening forum in June that included a presentation from Sydney City Farm as part of the City of Sydney’s Green Villages initiative.
Nicola Cameron spoke eloquently about our vision for a City Farm in Sydney and explained the features of City Farms such as CERES and Collingwood Children’s Farm in Melbourne, and Hackney and Kentish Town City Farms in the UK. These were illustrated by a series of stunning photos mostly taken by Andrew Jackson.
